The unsophisticated faith

    In thinking of the last days, it is a nerve racking thought. To be true to oneself, no matter how much your faith appears to be or is, the fact is that human nature is afraid of the unknown. To make matters worse there are repeated and constant forecast of doom and gloom. As Christians, there is a great responsibility placed on our shoulders. As the world descends into darkness( increase in evil, crime, rapes, road carnage ,fighting, hunger, taxes, immoral living and the list goes on) our light has to shine and not to be place on a shelf, but for everyone to see. Everyone will be looking at us Christians. They will be hard on us for they will be looking for answers. They will be looking to see how the God that we profess and believe in is actually working in our lives. They will want to see if God is real and how can they be save as well. Where is your faith? Jesus said to the woman "...your faith has saved you;go in peace" Luke 7:50 Jesus calmed the storm,he rebuked it and asked them "where is your faith?"Luke 8:25 Faith is the pinnacle of love.We love because God is love.We love because God has forgiven us.He paid the price for our sins. Who therefore loves more? Is it the one who has been forgiven for the least amount of sins or the one who has been forgiven for more sins? Luke 7:41. I am forgiven,but clearly have forgotten the cost that Christ paid on the cross.Have I  become too proud and look down on those in sin?
